Prof. Dr Imtiaz Ahmad Dogar HOD Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, FMU was the honorable Speaker on the occasion. He discussed in detail the Women Mental Health.
MS DHQ Hospital, Deputy Director Social Welfare, Ma'am Samreen, Nasreen Sultana, Saleem Balandia and Muhammad Athar also spoke on the occasion.

On Women's Day, the Hometown Community Foundation (HCF) collaborated with US-based organizations, including the SDGs Academy, to celebrate and promote women's empowerment through economic growth. The main event was led by Ms. Mehwish Tariq, CEO of Hometown Community Foundation, and Sir Ammar Jaffary, CEO of SDGs Academy.
Various stakeholders participated in the event, including Dr. Tanvir Kiyani, Additional Secretary of Tourism and Development; the CEO of Capital Diagnostic; Dr. Ayesa Babar, Head of School of Public Health at Al Shifa Eye Trust; Dr. Asma, representing Rawalpindi Medical University ORIC; Prof. Hameed, Vice Chancellor of Dow University Karachi; Ms. Saima, a Parliamentarian; Ms. Musarat Ranib, Leader of Nursing and Midwifery; Ms. Sobia Khateeb, a Psychologist and CEO of Sobia Khateeb Foundation; representatives from Al Shifa International School; Ms. Sajid Kazmi, Clinical Psychologist at Fauji Foundation Hospital; and the HCF team, including Ms. Rabiya Ghafoor, Project Head; Ahsan, Team Lead; Hina, Core Team Member; and Rabiya Sajid, General Secretary.
The event featured impactful speeches from the speakers, followed by the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) between Hometown Community Foundation and SDGs Academy, as well as between Hometown Community Foundation, HSA, and NCHW USA. These collaborations signify a commitment to advancing women's empowerment and fostering economic growth, reflecting the collective dedication of the participating organizations towards gender equality and sustainable development.
